A look back at 2018

When we reflect back on 2018 we can't help but feel a welling lump in our throats as most of 2018 was spent building, planning and buying for Willow Creek.

From the first few discussions as a family about actually pursuing this dream to taking the leap of faith, finding the right space for the store, the waiting game of renovations and learning to work together as a family - it was a year filled with new experiences, hurdles and excitement.  Thankfully, our sometimes wavering optimism persevered and we opened our doors to so many welcoming customers from around Manitoba.

We can't even begin to explain how grateful we are (here comes that lump in the throat again) - we've only been open 7 short weeks and we know that we have another year ahead of unknowns but the support you all have shown has calmed a lot of the uncertainty in our hearts and has us excited for new plans, new dreams and what lies ahead in 2019!

If we learned anything in 2018 it was sometimes it's not finances or support from others holding us back, sometimes it's only ourselves holding the door closed. To truly have what you want out of life you need to take a leap of faith and trust the process as it unfolds.

Here's to a happy, prosperous and daring New Year!
