Care Instructions From The Maker

Keep your handcrafted wood pieces looking great for years to come with these simple steps:

• Hand wash your wooden piece on all sides
• Dry your wooden piece (on all sides) immediately after washing
• Regularly apply food safe mineral oil 
• Store your wooden piece in a dry area. 
• Boards should be stored vertically to encourage even drying
• Do not submerge in water or wash in the dishwasher

Wood responds to moisture by growing while drying leads to the wood shrinking.  To prevent warping or cracking it is strongly encouraged to wash and dry evenly on all sides - a slight warp can be remedied by time spent drying evenly.
